Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) newest Alice Area Engineer was the guest speaker at the Alice Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday.
Lucio Ramos gave rotarians updates on TxDOT projects in Alice and around Jim Wells County.
Ramos is responsible for Kleberg, Jim Wells and Live Oak Counties. He oversees all maintenance and construction of road and bridges, majority of design work, long term planning and all day to day activities.
Ongoing projects include a mill and overlay project on Highway 281, safety lighting on Farm-to-Market 738.
