Let's Talk Saving Lives - Halo-Flight
The Alice Rotary Club is currently in the process of acquiring a $3000 grant for Halo-Flight.  The grant would come in the form of a 50/50 split between our club and the district. With that in mind our April 29th meeting bought to us a couple of great ladies from that organization.

Jane Dare Haas and Wendy Greer took some time to fill us on what is going with Halo-Flight and how the virus has affected their organization.  They regretted to inform us that all fund raisers for this year have been canceled due to the virus.  Those included their highest earning event, Flights of The Angels Golf Tournament.  With these dramatic loses to their funding the organization is looking for ways to gain funding to continue to operate and serve.

Of course this Non-Profit organization is always willing to take a donation, and if you are so inclined you can do so on their website.  Additionally, they is  the hope that individuals and companies that in past have contributed to or sponsored a Halo-Flight events will still be willing bust out the pocket book to assist.

One such way that will benefit, not only Halo-Flight but you as well is the continued promotion of the Guardian Subscription Membership Plan that helps make an unexpected tragedy less painful on your pocket. Plans start as low as $35 and are available for Individual Families, Businesses for their employees and their families, as well as Ranch Plans.  your can find out more about the Guardian Subscription Membership Plan please check out their website and click the blue Guardian in the top right corner.

They are also looking at an additional Giving Tuesday, Which takes place tomorrow May 5th.  For more information or to make a donation, please check out haloflight.org
