Betty Ramirez-Lara is the President/Owner of Utilities Services Experts USA, an Energy Brokerage Firm for consumer use. Betty raised 2 boys as a single mother.
Betty met and married her Rotary husband Adam Lara in 2008 as he was making up a meeting at her Rotary Club. Adam Lara is the Rotary District 5930 Trainer for 2017-2018.
Betty and Adam have four boys and two grandchildren. Bobby Jo Garcia, J.R. Garcia both Educators in Austin. Seve Lara, Regional Manager for Insco Distributing and Marcus Lara, Commercial Banker for Chase Bank.
As Rotary District Governor for 2017-2018, one of her main goals is to NOT keep Rotary a Secret. She has developed and initiated a “TOOT YOUR HORN” Campaign to let our Communities and the World know how Rotary have served them and continue to serve them, as our motto “Service Above Self” continues. As well as Rotary: Marking a Difference and Energize Service Through Rotary.
