The Rotary Club of Alice congratulated one of their members, Roger Hoffman, recently as he received a Paul Harris Fellow pin.
Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute $1,000, or who have contributions made in their name, to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
According to Rotary Club of Alice president Gail Hoffman, Roger made a contribution several years ago and recently the Alice organization made a $1,000 contribution in Roger’s name.
Rotarians have a tradition of supporting the foundation by honoring others.
Money raised by Rotary International is spent on finding a cure for Polio and towards education.
