Two Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Alice were were acknowledge for their contributions to the Rotary Foundation.
Bruce Hoffman and Dee Dee Arismendez received a Paul Harris Fellow pin by Rotary District 5930 Governor Betty Ramirez - Lara. This is the third for Hoffman and the first for Arismendez.
Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute $1,000, or who have contributions made in their name, to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
Rotarians have a tradition of supporting the foundation by honoring others.
Money raised by Rotary International is spent on finding a cure for Polio and towards education.
